For someone who is trained in fine art, with a bent towards realism, it's no small wonder Peter Rad chooses to create believably authentic settings in his photographs. What is amazing is how he magically makes a staged image come alive, as if it is an actual occurrence snapped at some appropriate moment. At age 42, the Melbourne transplant is only just beginning to cast his spell on the U.S. photography market.
